Hi! My name is Sophea and I am so excited to be a part of this lab. I grew up in Alton, Iowa which is a small town in Northwest Iowa. I am a second year undergraduate student pursuing a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences along with minors in Psychology and Spanish. My goal is to become a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, and exercising.

I’m interested in joining the CLD lab to gain research experience that will help me support patients from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. I look forward to applying what I learn in the lab in my future career as a SLP!
