My name is Rowan Appel and I am from Bettendorf, Iowa. I am currently a sophomore here at the university, working towards my BA in Speech and Hearing Science with the goal of becoming an acute rehab SLP in a hospital! In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family and playing with my dogs! 

I have always loved working with others towards a goal. Seeing how this labs mission is community focused, I knew it would be the perfect fit! I have a passion for working on tasks that really make a difference so I am so excited for this opportunity to grow and learn more valuable information I can use in my future career!
