Biography
My goal with this lab is to harness our knowledge of linguistic diversity and multilingual development to reduce health disparities in speech-language pathology. I believe this is attainable by investigating assessment and intervention options for all individuals with speech and language disorders, including those from historically underserved and underrepresented clinical, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. I am also an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the University of Iowa, where I teach classes related to phonetics, phonology, speech sound development, speech sound disorders, and multilingualism.
