Marin Randall (she/her)

Undergraduate Research Assistant
Biography

My name is Marin and I am thrilled to be a part of this lab. I am originally from Norwalk, Iowa, which is about 20 minutes south of Des Moines. I am a second-year undergraduate student pursuing a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology. My goal is to work with children from all different cultural backgrounds and administer care in a way that respects their traditions and cultures. I also want to travel to help children worldwide with their speech.

I have a passion for helping children feel understood through their development. Multilingualism is a beautiful thing, and I am very much looking forward to working with fellow researchers and patients to bridge the gap between any communication barriers to better serve multilingual communities.
