My name is Maddy Holmstedt, and I am very excited to be a member of the Clinical Linguistics and Disparities Lab! I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I am working towards a B.A. in Mass Communication Studies and double minoring in Criminology, Law, and Justice, as well as Communication Sciences and Disorders. My future plan is to continue my education by pursuing an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology. I am very passionate about social justice and its impact on interpersonal communication and speech. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends and family!
