I am an undergraduate student at the University of Iowa, working towards my B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Computer Science. One of the many reasons I am so excited to be a part of this lab is because linguistics fascinates me. To me, there is no better way to exert this passion than by helping those with speech and language disorders that come from marginalized cultural, clinical, and linguistic backgrounds. The CLD lab encapsulates this value of mine perfectly, which is why it is such a pleasure to be a member of the team!

Outside of the lab, I work as a certified nursing assistant caring for individuals diagnosed with dementia and often spend my free time hiking, drawing, and cooking.
