My name is Katie and I am super excited to be a part of the Clinical Linguistics and Disparities Lab! I am originally from Glenview, Illinois which is about 30 minutes from Chicago. I am currently a first-year AuD student, and I hope to work as a bilingual Audiologist. 

I am passionate about the work in this lab because I see a lot of importance in bridging the gap between multilingualism and speech disorders. Often, multilingual children get overlooked in their acquisition of a new language, and speech disorders can hide in the transition. I am looking forward to improving access to resources that can better help speakers of all languages.
