Hi! My name is Emily Wakefield, I'm a third-year undergrad student from Austin, Texas. I am working towards a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology. I want to work in a Clinical setting as a pediatric Speech Therapist. In my free time, I work at a preschool, listen to music, go on walks, and hang out with my friends and cat! 

I am super excited to join this lab to further my knowledge of and improve speech disparities. I am very interested in multilingual language acquisition and linguistics, and am excited to get experience with those in this lab!
