Bianca Robles-Muñoz (she/her/ella), B.A.
Alumni Graduate Research Assistant
Biography
My name is Bianca and I am so excited to be a part of the Clinical Linguistics and Disparities Lab! I am Puerto Rican and am originally from Houston, TX. I received my B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences with minors in American Sign Language and Latino/a/x Studies at the University of Iowa, where I have continued to pursue my M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology. I value the connections I have made in Iowa City over the past few years, and I use them to work with Dr. Combiths to bring science and community together.
I have a passion for working with historically underserved communities and I am eager to help contribute towards research that will help clinicians better serve their multilingual and linguistically diverse clients. This work is personal to me and I strive to integrate social justice and equity into research and my future career as a bilingual speech-language pathologist.
