My name is Ava Chopskie (she/her), and I am from Ames, Iowa. I am currently a first year undergrad student working towards a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a B.M. in Percussion Performance. I am so excited to be joining the Clinical Linguistics and Disparities Lab! Having an equitable clinical setting is something that is very important to me, which is why I am looking forward to getting involved in this research and helping speech language pathologists better assist their linguistically diverse patients.
