Hi, my name is Annika Dearden and I'm from Bondurant Iowa. I'm a third-year Speech and Hearing Sciences minoring in art and psychology. I want to be a medical speech pathologist. Specifically working with people who have had brain injuries or strokes. I love playing rugby, drawing, and being around my friends in my free time. 

The Clinical Linguistics and Disparities Lab interests me because it is important to learn how to serve all communities. This lab is committed to growing our knowledge of different languages and serving minority communities.
