My name is Anna Kalmar and I am a second year student, working toward a B.A in both Speech and Hearing science and Dance. In my free time, I really enjoy working and volunteering within the special needs community, and hold multiple positions at Northwest Special Recreation Association in the educational off-seasons. However, I have always had a passion for the field of speech pathology, and am eager to discover ways in which researching linguistic diversity, can help us to make speech therapy a more inclusive form of intervention!

      Outside of my studies, I am a member/instructor of dance club, a fitness instructor at the campus recreation center, a volunteer for the University of Iowa chapter of A Moment of Magic, and an active performer in the dance department.
