Hello! My name is Kyra, and I am from San Diego, California. I am majoring in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in Anthropology, and I am pursuing a career as a speech-language pathologist. I have fallen in love with studying communication sciences and disorders, and am so excited to have the opportunity to continue my studies! Currently, I can see myself working in a medical setting as a pediatric SLP, as I enjoy working with kiddos! In my free time, I love spending time outside, reading, watching movies with friends, and having little coffee dates!

I was drawn to the CLD Lab because I am passionate about learning how research can support more equitable care for all patients. I am excited to carry with me everything I learn in the CLD Lab, so I can be the best SLP I can be!
