Hello! I am Isabella Waechter, and I grew up in a small town in north central Iowa. I am currently pursuing a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in American Sign Language. In the future, I am hoping to work as an Speech-Language Pathologist in a hospital setting. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks with my family and reading.

I am excited to be joining the Clinical Linguistics and Disparities Lab, as I have always been fascinated with linguistics and feel passionate about ensuring equal opportunities for multilingual individuals in healthcare. I look forward to being part of a team that makes differences in this field and gaining more experience applicable to my future career.
