My name is Madeline Palas, and I use she/her pronouns. I am a third-year student studying Speech and Hearing Sciences, with minors in psychology, social work, and aging & longevity studies. In the future, I hope to work as a speech pathologist in a hospital or nursing home setting. Outside of the lab, I am involved in Alpha Phi Omega Omicron, Green Bandana Project, and NSSLHA. I was interested in this lab's mission due to its focus on the diversity of bilingual and multilingual language users. This topic is significant to our field and is a necessary research area within communication sciences and disorders.
